1.b.     Glass inkwell with brass lid chained to brass? stand with floral painted tray for nibs, wax etc.- stand of two entwined serpents. 19thC
1.c      Crown Staffordshire octagonal porcelain inkwell with enamelled floral panels (cracked) 19thC - porcelain liner - maybe missing lid.
1.d.     Glass machine-cut square inkwell with brass lid and screw locking 19thC
1.e.      Pottery twin inkwell - 19thC - with painted Crown, fleur-de-lys and arms and insignia of Henri lV – marked ‘Mauland Herré Pau 671’ - lid with painted coiled serpents.
1.f.      Blue and gilt porcelain inkwell and tray with liner and lid - 19thC - marked ‘Malting Newcastle-on-Tyne Made in England’.
1.g.      Souvenir travelling inkwell in form of tree trunk Austria - 19thC - lid with circular inset  marked ‘Faulhorn’ (mountain).
1.h.     Triangular pottery inkwell and lid - Austria/Germany - 19thC - painted decoration - marked ‘Y.H. Zell a/m’.
1.i.      Round brass travelling inkwell - 19thC - loose painted floral inset in lid.

2.a.    Manila envelope containing five uncut turkey quills; three uncut turkey quills in manila envelope marked 1978-9; 4 uncut goose quills in manila envelope marked 1978-9; 30 turkey/goose quills; two cut and broken goose quills.
2.b.    Fragment papyrus - Coptic? - between glass and mounted 6thC AD?
2.c.    Sliding silver Victorian propelling pencil and pen - onyx? seal end – Birmingham hallmark - 19thC.
2.d.    Small sliding silver pencil - Birmingham hallmark 19thC.
2.e.    Small white metal pull-out pencil - 19thC.
2.f.     Roman British bronze stylus - with label ‘excavated London 1950’.
2.g.    Broken Chinese ink-stick
2.h.    Isle of Wight ‘Alum Bay’ sand souvenir penholder and nib - late 19thC/early20thC.

3.1.    Manilla Box containing:
3.1.a  Yatate - Japanese - 19thC - brass/bronze? - inkpot with Japanese writing characters top and bottom – pen holder with Japanese writing characters top and bottom – open work sides.
3.1.b.  Yatate - Japanese - 19thC - brass - cylindrical pen holder with entwined, bearded serpents - inkpot with four panels decorated with flora and fauna.
3.1.c   Qalandan - Indian/Arabic - 19thC - brass - octagonal pencase panelled with writing characters on base and human and fauna on top - inkpot with scalloped hinged lid containing original flax and carbon ink.
3.1.d.  Qalandan - Indian/Arabic - 19thC - brass - octagonal pencase panelled with writing characters on base – inkpot with scalloped hinged lid.
3.1.e.   Qalandan - Indian/Arabic? - 19thC - brass - rounded rectagonal pencase with appliqué flowers and figures of winged seraph? supported by lotus? flowers geometrically interspersed with blue beads - base with central lotus? flower.
3.2. Loose items:
3.2.a.   Pewter Capstan Inwell and glass liner 19thC.
3.2.b.   ‘Truncated lighthouse’ glass inkwell on circular base with two integral indented pen slots - brass lid and lock.
