Postal Loan Order Form
Please complete this form to place an order through our Postal Loanservice. This service is available to members of Senate House Library who have a current borrowing membership. Normal borrowing conditions apply. You can order up to 12 books using this form, although you should not order more than you are normally able to borrow from us. Please see here for details.
A charge of £9 per parcel is levied. We will contact you before shipping the books to you if we cannot supply any of the books you have ordered, or if more than one parcel will be required to ship the books. Otherwise we will post the books out within 3 working days of receiving your order and add the charge to your library account. We use Parcel Force to ship books to you, and a signature will be required on delivery. Books will only be posted to the address on your library membership record.
The fee can be paid by phoning the Circulation desk on 020 7862 8500, or by sending a cheque made payable to 'University of London'. Please note that you will be unable to renew or reserve books online, or access electronic resources until the fee has been paid.
You are responsible for any books from the time you receive them until they have been returned and received at Senate House Library. It is therefore recommended that you use registered post with insurance to return books to us, as you will need to replace them if they are lost or damaged in the post on their way back to us.
