Friends of Senate House Library adopt a book

BeFriend a Book with SHeLF, the Friends of Senate House Library

You can help to preserve our shared printed heritage

SHeLF, the Friends of Senate House Library, are pleased to encourage you to support the new BeFriend a Book programme. BeFriend a Book is a practical way for readers to help sustain works in Senate House Library for posterity.  It is an ideal gift to commemorate birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and other significant events.  Choose items from our list of books, pamphlets, and issues of periodicals, all in urgent need of attention. There are four levels of support:

Student: £25 - £49 donation

Contribution towards the cost of conserving or binding a book in urgent need of repair from our themed list.  Your support is recorded in our Benefactors’ list.

Bronze: £50 – £149 donation
