Troup Horne Collection

Bequeathed by George Francis Troup Horne, Secretary of Birkbeck College, as a memorial to Margaret Cumming Troup Horne. It consists primarily of items illustrating the development of the English short story. A quarter of the collection dates from the 20 th century onwards, with a few earlier and rare items (Kipling). The Library adds both contemporary and antiquarian items to this collection.
