Ethel M Wood Biblical Collection

Important collection of c 350 English and American Bibles and books on biblical studies, of which 45 are pre-1640. Deposited in ULL in 1950 (to be a bequest) by Ethel Mary Hogg, afterwards Mrs Wood (1876-1970). Additions are made from time to time from a modest purchase fund. These complement the ULL’s other holdings. In main card catalogue.
